AirportLounge.com is free to read, and it stays free because some of the links on this site are paid links. This page explains what that means, what it changes, and what it does not. AirportLounge.com is owned and operated by Inspecto Inc., a corporation registered in Ontario, Canada.
How we make money
Some links here point to a travel company we have a commercial relationship with: a hotel booking site, an airport transfer or car hire service, an airline, a luggage maker, or a travel insurance provider. If you follow one of those links and go on to book, buy, or request a quote, that company may pay us a commission.
You never pay more for using our link. The price you see is the price that company is offering, and the commission comes out of their margin rather than your fare.
Every paid link on this site is labelled where you can click it. You will never have to hover over anything, or scroll back to the top of a page, to find out that a link is paid.
What we do not do
We do not sell placement in our lounge listings. No company can pay to have a lounge added, moved up, described more kindly, or taken down. We do not run display advertising, pop-ups, or retargeting banners, and we do not accept payment in exchange for a review.
What advertising does not influence
Our lounge, airport, and credit card data comes from operator, airline, airport authority, and card issuer sources, and it is reviewed on a schedule that has nothing to do with who pays us. A commercial relationship has no bearing on:
- which lounges we list at an airport, or the order they appear in
- the amenities, hours, access rules, or prices we publish for a lounge
- which credit cards we cover, or what we say about their lounge benefits
- whether we tell you that an option is not worth the money
Where the honest answer is that you do not need to buy anything, that is the answer we publish. Our Editorial Policy covers how content is researched and reviewed.
What advertising does influence
There is one thing it does affect, and we would rather say it plainly than bury it. Which companies we can link to at all depends on which affiliate programs have accepted us, and which of those programs operate in your country. We do not cover every hotel site, every transfer service, every airline, or every insurer on the market. A company we have no relationship with may still be the right choice for your trip, and its absence from a paid link is not a judgement about it.
When more than one partner would fit a page, we choose the one that fits the situation on that page. We do not order them by what they pay.
What happens when you click
A paid link sends you through a redirect on this site so that we can count the click. We attach the page and the offer to that redirect so the company can credit the referral. We never attach anything that identifies you. Once you arrive, that company's own privacy policy and cookies apply. See our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy for the detail.
Where you will see paid links
Paid links appear on airport pages, lounge pages, day pass pages, and in some guides. They sit below the information you came for, never above it. Wherever one appears it carries a "Paid link" label and a link back to this page.
Credit card pages are a separate case. The links to card issuers on those pages currently go straight to the issuer's own website and earn us nothing. They are marked as sponsored links regardless, because that is the honest default if a card program is ever signed.

FTC compliance
We disclose these relationships in line with the Federal Trade Commission's Endorsement Guides (16 CFR Part 255), which require a material connection between a publisher and an advertiser to be disclosed clearly and conspicuously. That is why the label sits on the link itself rather than only on this page.
