Airline lounge network

Delta Sky Club

Delta Sky Club is Delta Air Lines' branded airport lounge network, with most locations in Delta-served US airports plus a handful of international hubs. Access is tied to either Delta cabin class, Delta status, a Delta-issued credit card, or a paid annual membership.

How Delta Sky Club access works

Delta Sky Club is restricted to passengers traveling on a same-day Delta-marketed flight. That is the most important rule and the one most often misunderstood. Even a paid annual Sky Club member cannot enter without a Delta or SkyTeam-marketed boarding pass for that day. International transit passengers from a Delta partner flight in business class typically qualify; verify with the lounge entrance team if your itinerary is unusual.

Card-based access in 2026

The two most common card-based ways into Sky Club are the Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express card (which now grants 15 same-day visits per calendar year) and the Platinum Card from American Express (10 visits per year, same-day Delta flight required). Sky Club access via these cards was significantly tightened during 2023 to 2024; before the change, both cards offered unlimited visits. Confirm the current visit allowance in your card's benefits guide before you fly.

Status-based access

SkyTeam Elite Plus members traveling internationally on Delta or a SkyTeam partner can enter Sky Club. Domestic-only Elite Plus tickets do not qualify on most flights. The status-based door is narrower than the card-based one for most US-domestic travelers, which is why the credit-card route is the more common entry method.

Where Delta Sky Club exists

Sky Club locations are concentrated at Delta's US hubs (Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Boston, New York LaGuardia, New York JFK, Los Angeles), with growing footprints at expanding international hubs. The largest is the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Sky Club network, with multiple locations across concourses. The Sky Way at JFK Terminal 4 connects multiple Sky Club spaces over the gates and is one of the most expansive airline lounges in North America.

Sky Club, Delta One Lounge, and Centurion

In 2023 and 2024 Delta launched a separate, higher-end product called the Delta One Lounge at JFK and Boston, restricted to Delta One ticket holders only. Sky Club is the broader network. The Centurion Lounge at the same airports is operated by American Express and is a separate product entirely; the two networks share the Amex relationship but the lounges, cards, and rules differ.

Frequently asked questions

Which credit cards include Delta Sky Club access?
The Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express card grants 15 same-day Sky Club visits per calendar year. The Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business American Express card grants the same. The Platinum Card from American Express grants 10 Sky Club visits per year, also requiring a same-day Delta flight. Earlier eras of unlimited access ended in 2024.
Do I need a Delta flight to use Delta Sky Club?
Yes. Delta Sky Club entry requires a same-day boarding pass for a Delta-marketed flight or a SkyTeam partner flight that departs from that airport. Annual paid Sky Club membership does not waive this rule.
How early can I enter Delta Sky Club before my flight?
Most Sky Club locations admit eligible passengers up to 3 hours before scheduled departure. Hours vary; check with the Sky Club at your airport or in the Fly Delta app.
Is Delta Sky Club on Priority Pass?
No. Delta Sky Club is not part of the Priority Pass network. The two are separate access systems.
Can I bring guests into Delta Sky Club?
Guest rules tightened during 2023 and 2024. Most cardholder-based entries no longer include free guests; additional guests are charged per visit. Spousal and same-cabin companions on certain ticket types may still qualify free; confirm on delta.com or with the lounge front desk.
Where are Delta Sky Clubs located?
Sky Club is concentrated at Delta's US hubs (Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, New York JFK, New York LaGuardia, Boston, Seattle, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City). International locations include Tokyo Narita, Mexico City, and a small number of additional cities served by Delta long-haul.
What is the Delta One Lounge?
Delta One Lounge is a separate, higher-end product launched in 2023 at JFK and Boston and rolling out at other Delta hubs. It is restricted to Delta One business-class passengers only. It is not the same as Delta Sky Club.
Is Delta Sky Club worth the annual membership fee?
For travelers without an eligible Delta credit card who fly Delta frequently, the paid Sky Club Individual membership can pay for itself across approximately 12 to 15 visits at typical day-pass rates. Most travelers on cards that already include Sky Club access do not buy the standalone membership.
